Our next production, “Not For Keeps”, written and based on the birth of, the play’s local author Vince Jones is set in the 1940s and 1990s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Not For Keeps” tells the story of Mary who is forced to deal with an agonising choice.\u00a0
Whilst her husband is away in Borneo during the Second World War, Mary is drawn to a
handsome American soldier. The temporary fling leaves Mary pregnant. Facing being shunned
from society and rejected by her husband will she keep the child?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Performances will be at the Dorchester Arts Centre on the 4th & 5th July (matinee and evening performances on the Saturday)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will be casting on Wednesday 12th (and probably also Wednesday 19th) March at 7.30pm. at Tom Browns pub in Dorchester (47 High E St, Dorchester DT1 1HU). \u00a0We will be upstairs or in the skittle alley, but someone will be keeping an eye out for newcomers. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
